Why OSM values getting lower on each run ?

Dear All,

I’m a master’s student from Ankara, Middle East Technical University. I’ve been working with SLEUTH since last year. I’m on calibration phase and I’m assessing the results by only OSM values and moving on the next calibration phase. My problem is low osm values and they get smaller on each phase. For example;
Top ten OSM values from the coarse calibration are ;

 OSM Diff, Brd, Slp, Road
 0.12331888 1 50 25 50 75
 0.09036054 1 25 100 50 1 1
 0.08708839 1 50 50 50 1
 0.08658873 1 25 25 1 25
 0.08391695 1 75 75 50 25
 0.08324181 1 100 75 75 100
 0.08266927 1 75 25 25 25
 0.07887785 1 50 75 50 75
 0.07668611 1 25 100 50 25
 0.07545931 1 25 75 50 25

Top ten OSM values from the fine calibration are ;

 OSM Diff, Brd, Slp, Road
 0.03647358 1 100 25 16 1
 0.03646889 1 25 25 61 26
 0.03609253 1 55 25 16 1
 0.03541077 1 55 25 16 51
 0.03531184 1 40 25 16 76
 0.03524851 1 55 25 16 26
 0.03512412 1 55 25 1 26
 0.03496410 1 25 25 46 1
 0.03493142 1 85 25 1 1

Top ten OSM values from the final calibration are;

 OSM Diff, Brd, Slp, Road
 0.02631857 5 85 40 1 31
 0.02610854 5 85 40 13 16
 0.02610655 5 85 40 1 61
 0.02598152 5 85 40 1 46
 0.02579897 4 85 40 1 31
 0.02579042 5 85 40 13 1
 0.02575256 5 100 40 1 76
 0.02568489 4 85 40 13 46
 0.02560913 5 100 40 1 31
 0.02559811 5 85 40 1 1

These results are seem to be very low. Also another point that really confused me is Diffusion coefficient. How can all top ten OSM values can have Diffusion coefficient as one ?

I can’t compare my results with someone else can some one please tell me is this normal ?
