SLEUTH problem Land Use

Hi there, my name is George and I am a student from Greece.

I am currently writing my thesis on the urban sprawl phenomenon and the use of CA to predict it.

I’ve managed to run SLEUTH for my region but I confront two problems

1. When I use Land Use as an input SLEUTH returns me with the following message:

ERROR PE: 1852138355 line: 145 Func: scen_Append2Log Module: scenario_obj.c
../Output/pdme100/LOG_0 is already open

and stops the procedure, so I removed it from my input data in order for SLEUTH to work.

What can I do to fix it?

2. After running SLEUTH some times i get this message:

main.c 817 pe: 0 caught signo SIGSEGV : invalid storage access

currently executing function: main

glb_call_stack[0]= main

even in scenarios that worked perfectly fine the last time. How can I execute them?

One comment on “SLEUTH problem Land Use

  1. 1. ———————–
    ERROR PE: 1852138355 line: 145 Func: scen_Append2Log Module: scenario_obj.c
    ../Output/pdme100/LOG_0 is already open

    I’ve seen this problem in the past when the land use classes data in the scenario file do not match those in the land use files. Check that there are two and only files, that the classes given values in the scenario file are the same as in the files, and that the values in the image files are within the ranges chose.
    2. ———————————

    main.c 817 pe: 0 caught signo SIGSEGV : invalid storage access

    currently executing function: main

    glb_call_stack[0]= main

    This is either an incorrectly configured input file (e.g. nrows, ncols, or bit depth does not match) or you have exceeded you available memory. Check the LOG_0 file to see if there are any useful error messages.
